The Library

The Library will be a big part of your time at University. A great place to study and look for support.

Learning at Lincoln - University of Lincoln Library.

The Great Central Warehouse Library provides access to more than 250,000 printed books and over 400,000 electronic books and journals, as well as databases and specialist collections. The Library is open 24/7 for the majority of the academic year.

The Library staff help students and staff navigate the resources and offer training in information skills, statistics and referencing. Subject Librarians work closely with academic departments to maintain and develop the resources needed for courses and to provide assistance to students.

The team provide a wide range of practical support for students’ learning development, including one-to-one drop-in sessions and scheduled workshops on topics such as academic writing skills and using electronic databases.

“The library both physically and online is a great place to start when searching for these resources, with most libraries having the ability to get a resource in at your request.”

– Rebecca Louise Hepworth – 3rd year Events Management
