Student Wellbeing
Beginning your course
As you start your course you may have questions that you are unsure about. Hopefully many of these questions have been answered here or within your orientation but if they are not, please do remember there are a number of people that are here to help you throughout your studies.
The first place to ask for help will usually be either your Student Success Co-ordinator or your Online Learning Facilitator (OLF). They will usually be able to help you or will be able to point you in the right direction for anything you may need.
You can contact your OLF within the Canvas learning platform directly. Your Student Success Co-ordinator can be contacted using the following email address: studentsuccess@online.lincoln.ac.uk.
There are also however a range of other teams that you might want to contact during your studies. These include:
• Advice Team: advice@lincoln.ac.uk
• SU Advice Team: advice@lincolnsu.com
• Student Wellbeing: studentwellbeing@lincoln.ac.uk
• Student Administration: mitcircs@lincoln.ac.uk
During your course
As you progress through your course you may find that your circumstances change, or life events occur that mean that you are not able to complete your assessments or studies. Please do not worry if this occurs. When you are studying things can happen and we want to support you as fully as possible.
If you feel you are unable to complete your assessment or studies, please reach out to your Student Success Co-ordinator who will be able to advise you on any action that can be taken. For example, the University has regulations concerning Mitigating Circumstances, applying for an Extension, taking a Study Break or Changing Programme.
We want you to be success and so please do reach out if you need any help. We are here to support you.
