Welcome and Orientation

At the start of your studies, you will be provided with access to the University systems including the Learning platform, Canvas. Within Canvas you will be invited to take part in a welcome and orientation module which will provide you with some further guidance on your programme and the University in general. Please take time to become familiar with this information and feel free to revisit this module whenever you may need information.

Global Café

As part of your welcome and orientation you will be invited to meet your fellow students and to introduce yourself. During your studies you will be working with a range of different people who like you are studying on a Masters programme. Please take some time to say hello and interact with those you will be sharing this journey with.

Induction Session

You will also be invited to an induction session in which you will be able to meet your Programme Lead as well as some of the academic staff who will be supporting you during your studies. Please do try to attend if you can and take this opportunity to learn more about your programme and the University. These sessions will be held on the Friday before the start of your modules at the following times:

  • MSc – 2:00PM – 3:00PM (UK time)
  • MBA – 3:00PM – 4:30PM (UK time)

Group Activity

If you are studying on one of our MBA programmes you will also be asked to participate in a number of group activities during your studies. These are a required part of the CREST Leadership element of your programme and so do make sure to take part in these activities as fully as possible.
