Check your course learning outcomes
- Go to your course information and find the learning outcomes – these should be clearly listed
- Make sure you have achieved these
- Assessments are designed to check learning outcomes, so if they don’t appear in your previous assignments, they are very likely to appear in the exam
- Make sure you understand the terminology used, e.g., explain, analyse, synthesise

The best thing you can do is to give yourself enough time to prepare. Whether it’s a deadline or an exam you will need to do some preparation and leaving it until last minute is only going to add to the pressure.
