Report writing
A report is a form of assessment where you will be asked to summarise research or fieldwork that you have carried out. It tends to have a clear purpose and a particular audience, and it is likely to involve research and the presentation and analysis of information and research data relating to a particular problem or issue.
The structure and format of the report will be explained to you in an assessment brief provided in advance by your tutor.
All University of Lincoln students have access to the learning resource hub Skills for Study, provided by the Library.

Posters are an opportunity for you to present your research and findings on a topic in a clear and condensed form. They are used as a form of assessment in a number of subject areas, particularly in science subjects, and, as part of this, you may be asked to present or talk through your poster to an audience.
If posters are used on your course as a form of assessment, advice and guidance will be given in advance by your tutor, so you know exactly what is expected of you.
