Creating Your Participant Account

This helpsheet talks you through the process of setting up a registered ‘participant’ account with PollEverywhere. Your tutor may ask you to set up one of these accounts if you are going to be using the Poll Everywhere tool throughout a module.

Creating your account

Since the summer of 2021, Poll Everywhere has been a tool with single-sign-on access. This means you can login using your student email address and password.

1. Prior to your account being available, ICT will enable your login on the Poll Everywhere platform as a student.
2. Visit http://www.polleverywhere.com and click ‘Login’ and enter your student email address.
3. Once you have completed the step above, you will be re-directed to the University of Lincoln sign on page.
4. After completing the step above, you will be re-directed to the main Poll Everywhere page. Your account is now set up and ready to use.

Please note, if your tutor wishes for you to use Poll Everywhere and you have previously used it on another module during your studies at Lincoln, you will not need to set up a new account. You can login and use your ‘participant’ account to reply to all poll questions from now on. From time to time the University may reset all student accounts and after this, you will be required to follow the steps above to set up a new ‘participant’ account.
