Blackboard Ultra Help & Support

Blackboard Ultra for Students – Welcome Week January 2025

Blackboard is the University of Lincoln’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) used by most undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

These online sessions will introduce new and existing students to the latest version of Blackboard, known as Blackboard Ultra, to ensure that you can engage with all the content provided by your module and programme tutors, this includes your learning materials, assessment submission points and grades as well as spaces for online collaboration and discussion.

Do you prefer to attend a live online session where you can ask questions?

A timetable of live sessions is presented at the bottom of this page. These sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams and have a duration of 60 minutes. The content in each session is identical, therefore you do not need to attend more than one session. Students attending online will be able to ask questions to the session facilitator.

We recommend that you note the date and time of the session you are attending in your calendar app of choice.

Do you prefer to watch a recording in your own time?

Students who are unable to attend a live session or who would prefer to watch a pre-recorded version in their own time, are able to do so by clicking the following weblink: An Introduction to Blackboard Ultra (Video) – Learning at Lincoln
