How to download Google Chrome for accessing Blackboard
Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use when accessing Blackboard or other University platforms related to your studies. To download Google Chrome:
- Navigiate to the Google Chrome website: https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chrome/
- Click ‘Download Chrome’ and this will download the correct version of Chrome for your device
- From this page, you can also choose to update Chrome. We reccomend you regularly make sure your version of Google Chrome is up to date and if you have any technical issues, please first check you have the latest version of Chrome before contacting ICT for support.
- Once the Chrome installer has downloaded, double click this file and follow the steps to install Chrome.
Note: Chrome can be downloaded on all devices, including Windows, Mac, and mobile devices. As such you should be able to use it across all devices you might use for your studies.
